it's that one day again, all malaysians took the time off and remembers our forefathers who have fought for the country's independence.

and today, it's the 49th year Malaysia stands as an independent from all foreign me like any merdeka days for me, is indeed a day that i look forward for..simply because i can HAVE A FREE day. no waking up in the morning. just lazying out in front of the idiot box+eat till i can't get me arse off the lazy chair. yeap that is what merdeka day to me.

and this time around...for merdeka i have made myself free! i've survived another episode of hell on earth. i've submitted 3 assignments that was due before today...and i managed to do all that starting last monday! about procrastinations...i lurveed to do that. it sort of made me work even harder and more focused as i'm near datelines.

so with no more works to worry least for now, i can relax a little bit for this whole one week semester break that i have all for myself...welll not quite really. but still, i can chill at home. and by chilling at home, eat more fattening food, excercising less and to point that the were none, more stupid tv cunsumptions...and bloggin unesscessarily. thus will all the ample time i got for the weekends...i took it down to memory blog's memory lane.. i read like all the entries i had in my old blogs..and found something i wrote during merdeka day.

one similarity i found with that entry and this one is:: i didnt go out for merdeka and stayed home, froze up infront of my pc and blog about it. haha. yeap lame i know...but i chose not to go out. some of my friends actually asked me out and join them in celebration of merdeka day..when i asked them why, they answered-i want to see fireworks and watch MAWI performed. now, is it me or they are the ones who were lame? i said (with much annoyance) no, thanks. i could enjoy those things right the comfort of my home.

seriously, for fireworks, i could see the wonderful sparks as my house is nearby sunway pyramid...and for the performances-at the touch of my fingertips:the miracles of television. why complicate things? sure it's not like the real thing, but why trouble yourself for entertainment; when u can have it all on TV? thus i can never comprehend why those ppl actually go out and willingly stayed up late, crammed in seas of strangers in between them to catch their favorite artist perform on stage set like miles away from them.

whatever la kan....merdeka merdeka merdeka. it doesnt matter where you are, you can still enjoy merdeka day..u can still celebrate the glorious day we; malaysians are freed from foreign rules. so again, happy merdeka day malaysia. what's your merdeka wishes? mine is: no more political disputes amongst us the majority of this country: malays!! we were the one who moved the country to independence, and yet we still fighting with each other till today...when we should get together and stand as one. takut jadik singapore.

like good intentions to write and update my blog stopped everytime the 'namakemono' rush in me sprung out! hehe..just plain lazy...owh well so many things have happened and taken place since me last updates. SOOO MANYY THINGSSS....

at last the not-homewrecker-pop-princess-turned "DATIN" siti is officially married to the love of her life! owh well...i hate to speculate about the most-controversial-lovebirds in malaysia this you can never be too sure the outcome of your writings can bring towards Pak Lah's warning couple of weeks back; bloggers beware! you must never exploit your so-called freedom to speak via the internet so easily....pahh...whtever that is what called as freedom. but his the supreme's warning is more suited for independent writers/political critics alike and not bloggers at general. anyways, not here to diss out anybody in particular; just commenting the recent pattern of fad if there is any among the malaysian artist.

everyone in malaysian seemed to be talking about the so-called pop princess eversince she've come out clean about the her relationships with Old-But Handsomely Rich Datuk..and so much allegations were thrown at her feet like wrecking the old man's 20-years of marriage with first wife of royal blood..*of whom ppl say; that old Datuk owe much of his business' succesess and heck the honory title "DATUK" itself* ..sure we as members of the public can ONLY speculate and gossip about the truth that lies underneath their "purely love relationship".

but ya noe...IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO! so it does not phuckin matter when the real timeline is starts to kick-off; whether it was before or after the old man's twicely divorce period *facts: he divorced his 1st wife-twice before gettin hitched with CT...rumors: he have had more than one wife before divorcing all of them and off marrying pretty CT* personally, i like do not phucking care abt her grandeur wedding, scandalous relationships....cos bottomline is; i was never, and will never be a fan of hers. .thus, naturally this posting could spell "bias" towards here but i'll try to keep as straightforward and rationale as i can.

having witnessed my own sister's marriage wrecked to pieces by another lady in her husband's live i am very much against that of CT's so-called-strong confession that she wasn't the reason for pak besar's divorce. (owh by the way...CT just couldn't be anymore romantic than this now could she??? calling that ol pervert as pak besar-literally translated as 'big man'. now, one has to wonder, in wht point is she directing that ol man as 'bigman'?? like in terms of his physical appearance, he doesn't look at all like a 'big man' by standards..perhaps it's his d**k is what CT referred to as 'big man'...but of course when asked why to the so-called sweetheart....she safely escaps with it and said "BIAQLAH RAHSIA NOOOO" ) she's a homewrecker alright! all the evidences and traces of incidents is pointing directly to no matter what you want to believe with, i stand here to say and claim that she was the homewrecker despite anything. but chill, who am i to call her that right? WRONG! i can call and will call her whatever i like...just as you would call and think of others the way you like. so what's the fuss...this just ends here...cos i just feel like writing as this has been the main issue that's keep on replying in my house-at least with my mom. haha.

well coming back to my justification on why she's a homewrecker....i mean if you are so pure at sweet (yuck) you WOULD and HAD stayed away from the perils of being labelled as homewrecker like what you are today. it always disgust me that these sort of young women could do such a thing and marry off old dude for nothing but prolly power, security and DEFINITELY MONEY and the BLING BLING HUN! damn these people..and damn CT for that. and sure people could safely say in defense of her actions; ala...dah takdir! jodoh etc. yuck...all rubbish! that even disgust me more when ppl speak of "jodoh" everytime things like this arises. c'mon la..(tribute to KRU new song :p ) sure jodoh and the will of Allah is something we can't altered and already written out for us..but things like this, you can't blame it all on jodoh and fate.

jodoh doesn't come easily at your feet...if so is the way, then WHY oh WHY we still have many more old spinster especially??? 'tis ok, fate will bring me a husband i'll just sit here and relax and do nothing...yuck! i have a friend and he's still single because he doesn't do ANYTHING to have/find a relationship....owh, and my cousin sister who is now 40 yrs is STILL single because she REFUSED to work anything for a relationship with the opposite sex. so if CT strongly refused to have any sort of feelings/attachments with DK when she knows very well DK's old n married, she would have rejected him. Period! but it is clear, he flirted and she returned the favor. and so the scandalous affairs begin and ended with her winning the trophy of "Datin-ship" with larger than life wedding malaysians could ever seen.

and DK's ex-wife, just like my sister, the one ended up hurt inside-out and tramautised for many unbearable years of her life. and it's even worst if the losing party's first marriage; like my sister. although the wound is healed, but it still leaves a scar. so there...but having said all that, i believe that whatever comes around goes around. life is a circle. if you do something bad, nowadays the terms have it as " ALLAH BAYAR CASH!" instant refund, no need to wait for hereafter...and i speak of this not just because what is said above, but as a reminder to oneself as good to others and you'll get good in return, but if you bad things to others you'll ended up IN SHITHOLE! muehehhehee enuff said. siti situ sana sini sinun si*l opps my bad :-)

tiring tuesday

it's the first day of august and less than a week to finish various tidious projects before all of us; uitm students relax for a brief week of mid-semester break. and yeay, how i long for that day to come.

anyways, been watching a lot of movies last month...actually i had watched simply all the blockbuster films; new films...everything on tgv practically...was a great joy of course...and happy that i could do that, all thanks to watashi no ai-chan..redz1. anyways i was happy to watched M.Night Shymalan's new film: LADY IN THE WATER. like any of his movie; he would usually make a brief cameo/interframe...much like our local actor/director, Aziz M.Osman. But this time around, Shyamalan actually played one of the characters...the film some would call it boring, but i enjoyed it very much. started off pretty slow...and suddenly after 20 minutes; it progressed into something really interesting.

the film, which i guess must have cost a modest budget in terms of Hollywood's production scale; except for the special effects and costumes for the inhumane creatures of the dark world; it was really worthy to wacthed. it's about a "narf", named Story...who had to a make journey from 'our' world to hers; where she was destined to become a Madame Narf..someone who would inevitably changed the world. BUT it sure wasnt easy for her as there is one creature determined to hurt/kill her to ruined the 'perfect' world...

the interesting part starts when the leading character named Cleveland Heap played by Paul Giamatti, discovered 'Story' in the Cove's swimming pool. He then suspected 'Story' wasnt quite the woman she appears to be, and later learned that she was a narf from a mystical bedtime story. Cleveland believed this more, when he was attacked by one wolf-like creature when trying to send 'Story' back to wherever her home was. The interesting part was, when Cleveland tries to understand story and on the reasons why she was there from one tenant on the Cove apartment; whom apparently knows very well of the legends. And, chaos begin to sink in when Cleveland and a few other tenants tried to help Story even risking their lives to do so. And this whole story was written by the director himself. He actually concieved this bedtime story for his children when the taught came to him to film the idea. well, nuff said, lady in the water indeed was really interesting, something diff than our usual action hero movies. this movie was original in every sense. kudos to shyamalan.

then another movie that i get to watch was, Thai made film- DORM or in Thai it's called DEK HOR. but be warned, if you guys havent catch the movie, my entry contains crucial spoiler for you guys out there, sorry. (^_^) anyways, DORM is categorized as a horror flick..but after halfway through, you'll find it somewhat different than any conventional Thai horror transcend beautifully into a family movie; a story about friendship; a story about loneliness..and even, it gets comedic at some point.

DORM started off with main character named Chatree, a boy who was sent to a boarding school against his wish. As a new boy, he has no friends, school bully terrifies him with ghost stories which gets even more sordid for Chatree when he wet his bed one night just because he couldn't pee as he was scared to his bones believing that he found someone/something in the dorm's toilet. But one day, he made friends with Vicien and they make such good friends with each other. Suddenly, Chatree was all living again...he has a friend to share jokes with, play with and inevitably try to forget about home; the dad that was responsible to drag him to the a new school. In between the normal routine in any dormitary lives; you would be pleased with a few characters that crack jokes, played pranks with one another and this sorta make you ( well at least i did) reminisce your own school time. i guess any audience can easily associates with this movie.

anyways, Chatree fun abruptly ends when he discovers that his friend, Vicien, is actually the boy that died in their school like a decade ago. the boy of which his seniors keep telling to watch out for the roaming spirit that lurks in the dormitary toilets. The boy that died of drowning in the school's pool...and the boy of which his bed is now use by Chatree. As this unfolds, Chatree tried to run away from Vicien...but later he changed his mind and knew that Vicien meant no harm and was plain lonely just as he is; in need of friends. oh, by the way, no one else can see Vicien except Chatree. so like in any classic horror/spirits/supernatural theme-like movies, Chatree appears as a weirdo everytime anyone sees him talking to Vicien...and the other boys speculated that Chatree also had become like one of their school teacher; Pranee; who was rumoured to changed right after the boy's death and allegedly has something to do with the death.

But, one day; after what seem to be their first-fights as friends, Wichien was no where to be seen; and eventually Chatree found him nearby the closed-school's pool, jumping off and right into it. He eventually knows how his one friend died, but both he and Wichien was baffled as to why Wichien had to re-enact his death like everyday..on why his spirits is stuck here. gradually, Chatree found ways to help,by sedating himself with ether; and tried to rescue Wichien when he was drowning. This part was really touching and i almost shed a tear; depict a friend who's trying to help another friend who's drowning when no one else wanted to do it.

Apparently after helping Wichien, Chatree had release his spirit to leave the world in peace. It seemed that the reason Wichien's spirit was stucked there, because he was still disappointed that no one has tried to help him when he was near death. Wichien actually died because of his own stupidity initially but no one come to his aid when he needed it badly. He was pretending drowning but later his feet crammed and he wasnt able to swim for real. Pranks turned to reality and the saddest part; no friends helped it and left him alone to die. DORM seem to have an emotional impact on me much like the so-called horror movie- NANG NAK. but actually, when you really see it, it's about friendship; it's about growing up. Wonder what's really the motive of the producers to classify it as a ghost movie. perhaps, he's trying to say that sometimes, we treat others like ghost, declining their existance...ignoring them.we could hear but we couldnt see..we dont want to see. anyways, I DIG the film. IT'S A MUST SEE MOVIE!!!
